The degree of quarantine restrictions in Ukraine depends on the level of epidemic danger and the number of patients detected per 100 thousand of the population, said the Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov.
Ukraine has found a “perfect balance” between quarantine restrictions and life in the country, Ukrainian Health Minister Maxim Stepanov said on the air on Ukraine 24 television channel.
“We have found the perfect balance between the quarantine restrictions, which are imposed depending on the epidemiological situation, and the life of the country, but at the same time we live in a new reality. In this reality, we must follow certain rules. This is ours basic need to be healthy. ” – said the minister.
Stepanov pointed out that the degree of quarantine restrictions depends on the level of epidemic danger and the number of patients detected per 100,000 inhabitants.
“We have reached the point of not stopping the country. To make it clear why we are introducing such steps,” he said.
As of August 31, the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in Ukraine exceeded 121 thousand2,557 people died from coronavirus infection, 57114 inrecovered. The country is ranked 25th in the world in terms of the spread of infections.
