The quarantine restrictions introduced are fully justified, says the head of the Ministry of Health.

Even incomplete compliance with the restrictions introduced allows for twice lower daily morbidity rates, according to the Minister of Health.

The quarantine restrictions introduced in Ukraine contain the spread of the coronavirus. This was stated by Health Minister Maxim Stepanov on the air of Savik Shuster’s Freedom of Expression program, the RBC-Ukraine news agency reported.

“The quarantine, which we have, even if the rules are not followed, allows today to have 10,000, and not 20,000, as in neighboring Poland. This allows us to prepare the medical system,” said the head of the Ministry of Health.

Earlier, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said the cabinet is not yet considering introducing a full strict quarantine by analogy with spring.
