The Polish edition Przglad Sportowy reports that in the near future Gornik Zabrze will lose his top scorer Jesús Jiménez. One of the great Ukrainians claims the 27-year-old Spanish striker. Polish journalists do not name the club, but say the negotiations are at an advanced stage. The footballer himself is ready for the transfer, since it gives the opportunity to play in the Champions League.
It should be noted that Jiménez started the new season with great force. In seven games, he scored six goals. Thanks to his performance after six rounds, “Gurnik” is one of the championship leaders. Last season, Jiménez scored 12 goals in 37 Extraklasa games.
Jesús is a student of “Leganés”, but he did not play in Example. Later in his career there were modest “Alcorcón”, “Atlético Pinto”, “Illescas” and “Talavera”, performing in the lower divisions of the Spanish championship.
Jiménez’s main position, who estimates the transfermarkt at one million euros, is the center of attack, but he can also play from the left in attack, or up front.
