SpaceX launches Dragon 2 cargo ship on ISS

SpaceX has successfully launched the Dragon 2 cargo vehicle to deliver cargo to the International Space Station (ISS). The spacecraft was launched from the LC-39A Launch Complex at Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida.

This became known during the broadcast of the launch.

Dragon 2 took off with 2972 ​​kg of payload, of which 1882 kg in a pressurized compartment. Among them are 364 kilograms of various accessories for the ISS crew, station equipment, 120 kg of spacewalk equipment, 46 kg of computer components. Also in the cargo are 24 kg of accessories for Russian cosmonauts.

The cargo contains equipment for studying capillary flow under high temperature brazing conditions in microgravity. It will help create a habitat for people on future space flights, as well as repair damage caused by micrometeoroids and space debris.

Recall that in November, the American company SpaceX put a satellite into orbit to study the ocean. The launch of the Falcon 9 launch vehicle was carried out at 19:17 Kiev time, it returned successfully.
