“Mariupol” head coach Alexander Babich said why his players often win red cards.
– “Mariupol” receives many red cards. What is the reason for this and how to deal with it?
– There is such a problem. We know what red cards they gave us on purpose. And sometimes the players couldn’t cope with their emotions on the soccer field. This is our problem. This can only be resolved through communication and understanding of soccer players. You cannot forbid playing hard. First of all, we need to remove items like the go-ahead, back kicks, some unsportsmanlike red cards.
If we talk about two yellow cards … When a soccer player was yellow and purposely played with his hand, he received a second warning, then of course this is a fine. If you try to play the ball somewhere, but the opponent “draws” and our player is eliminated by the second yellow, then there is something to think about, how to talk to the player so that he does not get angry or discouraged after these cards.
But we already have a little less eliminations. I don’t take the match with Dnipro-1, we lost 0-3 (three players were removed from Mariupol – approx.). I think this game can be put in parentheses.
– Can you say in more detail what kind of “targeted deletion” is?
– There were such fouls in the middle of the field … I don’t want to give the names, but, let’s say, now we don’t have these players in the team. So those letters we won were very questionable.
Now we have soccer players who receive cards: we deal with them, we talk, we watch. These are mainly job cards.
