The law that provides for support for small and medium-sized businesses during the quarantine period should come into force on December 9. This was announced on Saturday, November 28, by the head of the People’s Servant faction, David Arakhamia, reports Interfax-Ukraine.

“There is very little time for this bill to be signed and effective before December 9, because there are about two million people, employees, according to government estimates, who can receive this compensation of up to 8,000 UAH per person. “. , – he said.

He stressed that most of the meeting of heads of factions and government on Saturday was dedicated to this issue, because it is necessary to think “how to go through all these bureaucratic agreements to meet these deadlines.”

Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that entrepreneurs whose business has suffered from the tightening of quarantine in Ukraine will receive eight thousand hryvnia.

Previously, the Verkhovna Rada registered a presidential bill on the social support of policyholders and business entities during the period of restrictive measures against the epidemic introduced to prevent the spread of the acute respiratory disease COVID-19 in Ukraine. Later it became known that the document, in particular, offers the abolition of rent for employers.

The blockade assistance package was also previously announced by Prime Minister Denis Shmygal. In general, at least 10 billion UAH will be spent for these purposes.
