Slovakia has restricted entry to its territory due to the rapid spread of the coronavirus infection. Some checkpoints on the border with Ukraine will be closed.
This was reported by the press service of the State Border Service of Ukraine.
Starting at 9:00 (Kiev time) on November 9, the “Veельké Slemense” checkpoint will be temporarily closed, from the Ukrainian side – “Malye Selmentsy”.
In addition, the pedestrian registration at the “Ublya” checkpoint, from the Ukrainian side – “Maly Berezny”, is temporarily suspended.
At the “Vishne Nemetskoe” checkpoint, on the Ukrainian side – “Uzhgorod”, the passage of persons temporarily or permanently residing on the territory of Slovakia will take place from 08:00 to 20:00 (Kiev time) .
Travelers entering Slovakia must undergo an antigen test and, in addition, are subject to self-isolation, during which on the fifth day they must perform an RT PCR test.
The passage of cargo vehicles will be carried out without restrictions.
Recall that the massive tests for the coronavirus of the Slovak population began on October 31. The entire population over 10 years of age was tested for coronavirus.
Additionally, Slovakia screened more than 3.6 million residents for coronavirus. Coronavirus infection was confirmed in 1% of the country’s population.
