US President Donald Trump said five or six more countries could sign agreements to normalize relations with Israel. However, the president did not name specific countries.

Reported by Reuters.

“There are many countries ready to join. We are way ahead with five more countries,” Trump said.

According to the US president, the conclusion of new agreements may occur before the presidential elections in the United States.

“I don’t want to talk about specific countries, but there are many of them. We will move forward quite quickly: some agreements will be before the elections, many – after. On this issue, we do not need to wait for the elections, the only question is how to achieve it,” he said. Trump.

We recall, today in Washington, that an agreement was signed on the normalization of relations between Israel, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.

In mid-August, Israel and the United Arab Emirates agreed to a peace agreement. According to him, Israel will not declare sovereignty over the entire western bank of the Jordan River, and Muslims will be able to freely visit the shrines in Jerusalem.
