According to the exit poll from the Savik Shuster study, the first place in the Kharkiv city council elections was held by the political force of incumbent mayor Gennady Kernes. “Servant of the people” is in third place.
Six parties broke the 5% barrier to enter the Kharkiv city hall. This is demonstrated by the exit poll data from the Savik Shuster study.
The winners of the Kharkov local elections were ranked in the following order:
1. “Kernes Block – Successful Kharkov!” – 39.52%.
2. “Opposition platform – For life” – 16.99%.
3. “Servant of the people” – 12.39%.
4. “European solidarity” – 9.17%.
5. Sharia Party: 6.41%.
6. “Svetlichnaya block – Together! “- 5.42%.

Shuster’s study conducted an exit poll in 12 cities in Ukraine: Kiev, Kharkov, Dnipro, Odessa, Lvov, Nikolaev, Uzhgorod, Chernivtsi, Mariupol, Vinnitsa, Cherkassy, and Krivoy Rog. To carry out the survey, the tools of the sociological company Liberty Report were used.
Representatives of the study in the amount of 1,5 thousand people worked in 554 sites. The survey was carried out using a face-to-face questionnaire at the polling stations.
The TV host promised to publish the data for the rest of the cities tonight on the Election Night with Savik Shuster program on Ukraine 24 TV channel.
On October 25, 2020, local elections were held throughout Ukraine, except for annexed Crimea and the occupied regions of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. Citizens of Ukraine elected heads of cities, towns and municipalities, as well as deputies of regional, district, city, town and village councils. The elections were held for the first time in accordance with the new Electoral Code, according to the proportional system with open lists.
