At the same time, the Azerbaijani side stated that one of the Armenian units, which is located in Khankendi, was forced to evacuate.
Azerbaijan announced the destruction of the headquarters of the 5th Mountain Rifle Regiment of Armenia. Colonel Samvel Grigoryan, chief of staff of the 10th Mountain Rifle Division, was seriously injured, the regiment’s artillery chief, Lieutenant-Colonel Arman Dermeyan, and a large number of military personnel were killed, reports the Armenian Defense Ministry.
Recall that the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, declared that the decision on a ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh cannot be reached unilaterally.
