Work on the site, which sold personal data on Ukrainians, was suspended.
The Ukrainian National Police initiated criminal proceedings for the leakage of personal data of Ukrainian citizens and their sale on the Telegram bot. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
“A preliminary analysis found that the amount of illegally disclosed personal data is a compilation of databases of information from various government departments and non-governmental organizations over various periods of previous years and is not related to the launch of the state mobile application Diya, ” The National Police said in a statement.
It should be noted that the work of the resource on Telegram, which illegally distributed the personal data of citizens, has been discontinued.
