The prosecutor’s office filed an indictment against 15 members of a gang that staged a major shooting in Brovary in May 2020 in an attempt to redistribute passenger routes. This was announced on Thursday, April 1, by the press service of the Attorney General’s Office.

According to the investigation, in May 2020, local businessmen engaged in passenger transport turned to a criminal authority that had previously been repeatedly convicted with a request to solve the problem of eliminating competition on the metro route. of the city of Brovary – Kiev Lesnaya for money. .

“Having criminal experience and authority in the criminal environment, he organized a gang, whose members shot in a residential area of ​​Brovary with illegal transporters from the Vinnitsa region,” the message says.

It is noted that 15 people are charged with banditry, attempted murder and illegal handling of weapons.

Recall that on May 29, 2020 there was a shooting in Brovary due to the redistribution of passenger transport routes. Three people were injured. The police have already arrested 43 people. At the same time, the identities of 67 people who participated in the shooting were identified.

The following day, Deputy Interior Minister Anton Gerashchenko said that the police had identified the clients of the shooting in Brovary. However, in July, the Attorney General claimed that those who ordered the shooting in Brovary had not yet been identified.
