The head of government said that together with the section of the northern Lviv ring road, whose construction process will begin in 2021, these facilities will form a “modern transport corridor with the European Union.”

“This is just one of many projects that we plan to implement within the framework of the public-private partnership. After all, this mechanism allows us to more actively attract investment in the development of high-quality and modern infrastructure in Ukraine,” Shmygal explained. .



Krakovets is a town in the Lviv region, located near the border between Ukraine and Poland.

In December 2020, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky said that there is a possibility to build all infrastructure nodes in four to five years and in total 4,000 km of national roads were built and repaired in the country in 2020.
