The prime minister suggested that the quarantine will not end in October

The government expects a worsening of the epidemic situation with coronavirus in September-October.

The probability of extending the quarantine restrictions in Ukraine after October 31 is very high. This was announced by Prime Minister Denis Shmygal in an interview with Page, published on Tuesday, September 1.

“Now we have extended the quarantine until the beginning of November. It is obvious that it will probably continue more. Despite the indicators we now have, in September-October there will be a very tense moment with the passage of the next wave of coronavirus,” he said. …

In this sense, it is important to properly prepare the medical system for a new outbreak of the disease, stressed the prime minister.

We will recall, Shmyhal said the government does not see any economic opportunity to detain the country for two or more weeks as part of a full and harsh quarantine. Therefore, according to him, only adaptive quarantine tools will be used.
