The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Health have developed a digital system designed to confirm the fact of vaccination against the coronavirus.

Registering for a free COVID vaccine will help Ukrainians to get a vaccination passport if it is introduced to the world. This was announced by Prime Minister Denis Shmygal on Facebook on Sunday, March 7.

“The digital system developed by the Ministry of Digital Development and the Ministry of Health will help all those vaccinated in the future to receive confirmation of vaccination against COVID-19 if so-called vaccination passports are introduced to the world,” Shmygal wrote .

According to him, more than 155 thousand people have already signed up for the vaccination.

The prime minister recalled that you can sign up for vaccines through the Diya application or by contacting the direct line of the Ministry of Health.

It was previously reported that Ukraine is ready to discuss with the EU international vaccination passports. Denis Shmygal believes that the best and most reliable option is electronic verification of the vaccinated person.

Shmygal also said that the COVID vaccine will cost the same as for the flu. At the moment, manufacturers’ prices for coronavirus vaccines range from $ 15 to $ 20, the prime minister said.
