Close to the Kiev Court of Appeal, which held ATO veteran musician Andrei Antonenko, accused in the case of the murder of journalist Pavel Sheremet, in custody, there were clashes between activists and security agents.

Gromadske reports this from the scene.

Antonenko’s followers do not agree with the fact that he was left in custody. They tried to block the road with the accused at the exit of the court.

In response, the security forces pushed people away from the special vehicle and blocked Solomenskaya Street to let the wagon pass.

One of the security officers is reported to have caught up with the protester and pushed him from behind. The victim was Viktor Tregubov, co-founder of the Democratic Ax party.

As the journalist Stas Kozlyuk said on his Facebook page, referring to eyewitnesses, during the clashes one of the activists was hit on the head, after which the victim was taken by ambulance.
