The soloist of the rock band System of a Down Serge Tankian commented on the military conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh. The musician expressed her opinion about the situation on her Instagram page.
Tankian pointed out that the confrontation in Nagorno-Karabakh is a war crime planned and organized by the “corrupt oil oligarchic leadership of Azerbaijan”.
The musician also accused Azerbaijan of disconnecting the Internet in the conflict zone to “export disinformation.”
Tankian called on the people of Azerbaijan to repeat the experience of the 2018 peaceful velvet revolution in Armenia. According to the singer, only in this way will peace be achieved between these two nations.
