“Servant of the people” announced the exclusion of the popular deputy Geo Leros from the faction. This happened after Leros reproached the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, for the fact that the newly promised people did not come to power and called the head of the President’s Office Andrei Yermak “an agent of the GRU of the Russian Federation.”
The parliamentary faction “Servant of the People” made the decision to exclude the Popular Deputy Geo Leros from its composition. This was reported on the party’s Telegram channel.
“Based on the results of the signature collection by majority vote of the people’s deputies, it was decided to expel Leros Geo Bagratovich from the membership of the Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine,” the statement said.
For the final exclusion of Leros from the faction, according to the regulations, the head of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia, must make a corresponding announcement in the plenary session of parliament.
Leros himself wrote about his possible expulsion from the faction on September 1. He said that the people’s deputies are collecting votes for the corresponding decision. The people’s deputy is sure that such an order was given to Arakhamia by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.
At a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada on September 1, Leros reproached Zelensky that the newly promised people did not come to power, calling Yermak “an agent of the GRU of the Russian Federation.” Leros said it was Zelensky who instructed Yermak to “do all the dirty and corrupt work.”

Leros was elected People’s Deputy of Ukraine in 2019 from the Servant of the People party (number 23 on the list). In June 2019, even before his election to the Rada, he was appointed an independent adviser to President Zelensky. In 2020, Leros made several public statements criticizing the actions of the authorities, in particular, the head of the President’s Office, Yermak. In March, Zelenskiy fired him as his adviser.
