Almost all checkpoints in Donbass will remain closed
Only the Yelenovka checkpoint in the Donetsk region will operate on the contact line and only two days a week.
Separatists continue to block the checkpoints in the Donetsk region, despite the fact that Ukraine has resumed work on its part since November 10. This is reported by the separatist media.
Therefore, civilians will still be able to cross the line of contact only through one checkpoint, two days a week.
It should be noted that only the Elenovka checkpoint will work (on Mondays and Fridays) in the highway corridor with the Novotroitskoye checkpoint. Therefore, the passage through the Mayorskoye, Maryinka and Gnutovo checkpoints will be blocked.
At the same time, the “RPD” notes that the unilateral opening of checkpoints by Ukraine would allegedly lead to a worsening of the epidemiological situation in the Donetsk region.
Separatists at the checkpoint require the following documents:
-
to leave the ORDO, you must have a registration (residence permit) in the territory controlled by Ukraine;
-
To enter the ORDO, the permission of the so-called “interdepartmental operational headquarters” is required.
Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian side in the Donbass will resume passage through all checkpoints.
It was also reported that restrictive measures against the epidemic were extended at the Donbass checkpoint until the end of the year.
