Separatists fired at the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Avdiivka and Maryinka

The Ukrainian army discovered an enemy UAV that crossed the line of contact. The drone was suppressed by electronic warfare.

During the last 24 hours, on September 14, separatist units violated the ceasefire in Donbas on three occasions. Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were not injured, the press center of the Joint Forces operation headquarters said in the morning report on Tuesday 15 September.

In particular, violations of the ceasefire regime were recorded near Avdiivka and Marinka. In these areas, indirect fire towards Ukrainian positions from a handheld anti-tank grenade launcher and small arms was documented.

“The blind shots did not represent a threat to life and health, so our military did not open fire in response. There were no casualties in combat or injuries among the personnel of the Joint Forces,” the headquarters stressed.

Additionally, an enemy UAV was discovered in the Pishchevik area, which crossed the line of contact. Through electronic warfare, the enemy drone was suppressed.

It is also observed that in the area of ​​the operation, other components of the Armed Forces are duly fulfilling their tasks. The military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with the rescuers of the State Emergency Service, extinguished the fire near the settlement of Nikolaevka, which is located in the Donetsk region.

“Since the beginning of this day, September 15, there has been silence in all sectors of the front, there have been no violations of the agreements that entered into force on July 27, 2020,” added the headquarters.

We will recall that on September 13 there were two attacks by the separatists in Donbass, near Pesok and Avdiivka. The Armed Forces of Ukraine suffered no losses.
