From the beginning of the day in Donbass, separatists once fired on Ukrainian army positions near Vodyanoye in the Donetsk region. This was reported by the press center at the JFO headquarters on Wednesday, October 14.

The separatists used small arms against the Ukrainian army. Since the shooting was unintentional, the Joint Forces units did not respond to the fire.

As a result of the bombing by the separatists, the Ukrainian military was not injured.

“In the area of ​​the operation, the situation continues to be controlled by the units of the Joint Forces,” added the headquarters.

The day before, there were six ceasefire violations per day in Donbas. In the area of ​​the Pishchevik and Vodyanoe settlements, two enemy drones were intercepted.

It was also reported that Ukraine will close the Stanytsia Luganskaya checkpoint to quarantine it. The only functioning checkpoint in the Lugansk region will be closed for at least two weeks due to the spread of coronavirus cases.
