Separatists block the passage of people at six checkpoints in Donbass

In Donbass, citizens can only pass through the Stanytsia Luganskaya checkpoint, as the remaining six checkpoints are blocked by separatists. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of the Interior on Tuesday, November 10.

In the Donetsk region, the arrival of citizens from the controlled and occupied territories is not recorded.

At the checkpoint of the Donetsk, Gnutovo, Novotroitskoe, Maryinka and Mayorskoe region, the arrival of citizens of the occupied territory has not yet been registered, probably due to the blocking of the passage by representatives of the ORDO. Furthermore, for fear that illegal armed groups will be denied entry, people will cross the demarcation line in the direction of occupied territory, “said border guards.

At the same time, three checkpoints in the Lugansk region resumed the passage of citizens: Stanytsia Luhanska, Schastye and Zolote, but the separatists still do not allow people to pass through the Schastye and Zolote checkpoints.

At the same time, starting at 10:00, the border guards at the Stanytsia Luhanska checkpoint ordered 49 people to enter from the temporarily uncontrolled territory and 51 to leave. The Ukrainian side allowed a vehicle and two people to pass through the Zolote checkpoint, but the separatists did not allow the car to pass and returned it to controlled territory. Likewise, eight people, including two children, registered for the exit to the Felicidad checkpoint. At the same time, border guards do not exclude citizens from being returned by separatists.

Earlier today, Ukraine resumed the pace at all checkpoints. Border guards are on the ground and ready to register people who intend to cross the line of contact.

The day before, it was reported that the separatists in Donbass had refused to resume work on the checkpoint. Only the Yelenovka checkpoint in the Donetsk region will operate on the contact line and only two days a week.
