Separatist sniper wounded a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donbass

In Donbas, a separatist sniper wounded a Ukrainian soldier. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG on Thursday, December 17.

“Today, 5:12 p.m., around 5:40 p.m., as a result of a sniper fire, a soldier from one of our mechanized brigades in the Avdiivka area was injured,” the message says.

Now the fighter is in a hospital. His state is stable, he is conscious.

“The JCCC group of Ukraine immediately activated the ceasefire coordination mechanism and sent a special note to the OSCE SMM,” the delegation added.

Recall that previously a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine died in the uncontrolled territory. The TKG first stated that the military crossed over to the enemy’s side without permission and died of intoxication, but this information was later changed.

It was also reported that two fighters were injured in Donbas. Such bold actions by the enemy were not ignored by the Joint Forces units and they returned fire.
