At least three top officials in the US presidential administration are firing amid riots in Washington.

The chief of staff of the First Lady of the United States, Melanie Trump, Stephanie Grisham, resigned on Wednesday, December 6, amid unrest in Washington. Reported by Reuters.

According to him, Grisham announced that he intends to leave his post immediately. She was previously the White House press secretary as well as communications director on its staff.

Two also resigned were White House Social Secretary Ricky Niketa and White House Under Secretary of Press Sarah Matthews.

It is noted that there was also talk in the White House that Deputy Chief of Staff Chris Liddell could resign.

The White House has not yet ruled on the resignation.
