Former Ukraine national team striker Yevgeny Seleznev, who plays for Turkish Bursaspor, said he regrets his transfer to Russian Kuban in 2016.
Seleznev’s words lead Tribuna.com.
“It was my choice. Or should I inform someone, where should I go? I made the decision and answered for myself. Let’s not talk about the Kuban, this is one of my biggest mistakes in my life. I had to think head on.”

Seleznev also recalled how Ukraine reacted to his transfer to the Russian club:
“It’s just these jokes about” feeding the family, “some people’s accusations that I’m not Ukrainian, that they will shoot the family in Maidan. Try, shoot. What for? What did he need money for? I have a million and a half is not? Sometimes I start to finish a little, it is not quite right. But nobody can say a word to me that I am not Ukrainian. I am more Ukrainian than half Ukrainian. “
Recall that Seleznev spent half a season in Kuban, after which the contract with the club ended by mutual agreement of the parties.
Previously, UNIAN also reported that Seleznev in quarantine was engaged in archery.
