The Office of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, criticized today’s searches at the Museum of the Revolution of Dignity in Kiev. Zelensky asked law enforcement officers “not to add artificially new emotions, which are already enough.”

This is stated in the statement of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

Zelensky is concerned that the searches took place on the eve of the anniversary of the start of the Revolution of Dignity, because this day is acutely experienced by Ukrainian society.

“Therefore, any negligence can now be perceived as a challenge to the Maidan’s values or as a deliberate game of social contradictions. Was it really necessary to do these searches at this point, even if the investigation finds it necessary? … investigative actions “, – stated in the PO.

As noted in the presidential office, if the theft of funds really did occur, then it will be easy to prove it clearly and legally.

“Once again, we emphasize the key: there are a lot of emotions these days every year, so no new ones should be added artificially. Especially, this should not be done through known political speculation,” Zelensky’s office added.

Let us remember that this morning, law enforcement officers arrived with records at the office of the Museum of the Revolution of Dignity and the department of its head.

As RBC-Ukraine wrote, the police said the searches were related to the investigation of the case of possible embezzlement of budget funds.
