Scientists at Mount Sinai American Medical Center in New York have discovered that antibodies to the coronavirus can persist in a patient’s body for up to five months. The results of the corresponding study are published in the journal Science.
In total, more than 30,000 people participated in the study.
The researchers clarified that the antibodies can persist in the body for up to five months if the patient has had a mild or moderate illness.
