Clergy: how Schuster was searching for a recipe for salvation in Ukrainian culture-800x530

Savik decided to break the frame and create creativity and brought together the “stars” of culture.

As passions burned in the talk shows on the evening of International Workers Solidarity Day, Schuster decided to break the frames and be creative, bringing together the “stars” of culture, sport and entertainment. Why The host himself barely understood this. The subject was declared “stars” in quarantine. “However, in the study they talked about something else.

Hope is abstract, but there is no money.

Savik Schuster started again with measuring emotions. Judging by the opinion poll presented on the big screen in the study, young people expect something, and people in their 30s and 40s, “by the way, the president’s generation,” are more anxious: unemployment is already hitting.

After introducing the guests to the studio and being a little confused about who Olya Polyakova (the “singer” is, he added), he included two athletes via video link: Olympic fencing champion Olga Harlan and Ukraine’s first racket (tennis) Elina Svitolina.

– What emotions are you quarantined with? – asked the host.

In response, he heard, of course, hope. Schuster decided to dig deeper and released a “horror story” about the transfer or cancellation of the Olympic Games in Tokyo. Here the athletes, of course, were concerned. First of all, the Olympic season is getting longer. Second, in principle, the quarantine cut 90% of their contracts, since there are no television broadcasts of sports competitions. And these are the sports “stars”. And athletes with lower status are forced to almost ask for money to eat.

Sadness song

To invigorate depressed athletes, the group leader “The hardkiss Julia Sanina. Without further ado, he sang a song about pain. For some reason, it turned out to be Mount Kilimanjaro.

The guests in the studio fell into deep thought. The association of the quarantine with the mountain was too ambiguous.

It turns out that Ms. Sanina was the first to navigate in quarantine and performed an online concert, which was seen by 100,000 viewers. Maybe he is out of creative people?

– We do not depend much on the audience, on their emotions. Our concerts are an explosion of emotions, and I am waiting for our listeners and spectators, “said Sanina in a well-posed voice.

His thought was developed by the honored Ukrainian artist Irma Vitovskaya. When asked by the host, what kind of emotion was she, referring to the 90s and even the 80s, she assured that there was hope.

“But I feel like you’re alarmed,” Schuster said.

“I used to want to be alone sometimes,” Irma replied. “And in quarantine, I realized I was an urban extrovert.” I want, in the studio, my friends, to hug everyone! We are very dependent on the audience. Nothing replaces the electronic tax when you throw energy into the room and get it back.

When the United States sneezes, only Westeros survives

Another inclusion – film director, film producer in Hollywood (formerly the creator of the channel “1 + 1”) Alexander Rodnyansky – launched a discussion about the world of cinema. According to Rodnyansky, the United States was scared, the film industry is producing nothing, there is no filming, and movies ready for release cannot be released because insurance companies do not want to insure the film. In the industry, a cheap stream suddenly began to dominate. And, to the delight of fans of great attraction paintings (the universes of Star Wars, Games of Thrones, Marvel, and others), surviving on giant screens will survive. But in general, the studies found themselves in a situation of small productions in relation to transmission.

– The good news is that content is needed. The public is looking for stories, experiences that can live on the screen, emotions that can survive. These things will not go anywhere, only the platforms will change.

Hollywood misfortunes at Rodnyansky’s presentation ripped a feminine tear from Olya Polyakova’s beautiful eyes.

Poor Hollywood! – She intoned Shurik (“Caucasian captive”) intonation “sorry for the bird”.

The host, who suddenly turned gray with a face at these words, eagerly rebuked Polyakova:

“When the United States sneezes, we have pneumonia.”

God and Lighting Salad

By video link, the leader of the group “Ocean Elzy” (as he called himself) crashed into the air Svyatoslav Vakarchuk. It was divided into two: as a politician with anxiety, as a creative person with hope. Duality also affected subsequent speech.

– The foam rises in art, there are many scammers wanting to win. And at times like now, those who simply cannot help but do not write, who do not so much and not only for money, but simply because they cannot avoid it, will come to light, “lamented artist Vakarchuk.

And then Vakarchuk, the politician, “went on” and started talking about money: 40% were excluded from the culture under the “coveted” kidnapping of the budget and “5% were added hypocritically.”

– If we do not support culture, what will happen to the Ukrainian nation? In the end, we are spiritual people and we must understand this, ”said Vakarchuk fervently.

Subsequently, it turned out that the spiritual person in Schuster that night was not just Vakarchuk. Ukrainian folk artist Vladimir Goryansky entered the role of a “spiritual person” so much so that, by answering a host’s question about emotion, he spoke of regret!

“I live with hope and repentance.” I told myself I was going on a creative vacation. I stopped thinking about the theater. About the viewer. Engaged in household chores. The garden This is amazing! I saw nature. I felt I had to fill myself and regret it. Let’s open the spiritual valves!

When an artist changes profession

The valve opened: Olya Polyakova was brought in by pastoral intonations and exhorters from Goryansky, who brilliantly entered the role of preacher.

“I also see the salads growing,” he snapped. – What to do for those who do not have a financial pillow?

And, reporting on the depressing prospect of not only “stars,” but also of all those working in the entertainment industry (dancers, directors, etc.) to be out of a job or change professions, he proposed creating a union in May:

– Only now, our industry has stood up, we can compete with the Russian entertainment world. After such a quarantine, this will all go back to 15 years.

Polyakova sees the union’s first job as a concretion of the quarantine exit plan for mass culture, which she did not see in the government’s 5-step plan:

– That is to say, we, the people who assemble the stadiums, are working in support, the other day in the cities, – it turns out that we are not. They don’t protect us, they don’t notice us.

Judging from the study’s reaction, few people read the government’s plan. But the indignant murmur, however, spread.

The people’s deputy (“Servant of the people” faction) Alexander Tkachenko, by video link, collected Polyakova’s suffering from income and published his bill on state support for the creative industry.

– This is the country’s 4 GDP, 1 million people alive, their income fell 75%. We are experiencing a situation that no one has ever experienced.

– Have you sat down (quarantined)? – He tried to smooth Goryansky. – Let’s fill up. Not everything, after all, that cinema, theater shows, are worthy.

– Why do we give all the money to the cinema? – Polyakova reacted. – A stadium concert collects more.

“I will go out with others,” Goryansky continued, dreamy and distant.

“The main thing is that you don’t want to enter another profession,” said Polyakova. – The gardener.

– The gardener? Oh yeah …

– By the way, you should also find a good gardener. I know what I’m talking about: a predator willing to hire a gardener-preacher Polyakov. – Let’s see how salads grow.

“I don’t need those colleagues who want to change their profession, turn their back on Ukraine,” said Taras Topolya, the leader of the ANTITELA group, under the argument.

“It is not forever,” Goryansky continued. “We can’t even influence that!”

Feeling that the sermons were unsuccessful, he tried to base himself:

– For me, a doctor who drives a scooter because he doesn’t have money for a taxi is worse than canceling the film’s premiere.

“This is a manipulation when you contrast a doctor and an artist,” Popol could not resist.

Our mind is boiling

And then political passions began to boil. The director and honorary artist of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Ahtem Seitablaev, in response to a general question about emotions, said: hatred. And explained why. Crimea is under occupation, its relatives and children are there, and Ukraine is shutting down Ukrainian broadcasts on the peninsula!

“I don’t want anyone raising their children to the enemy!” He stated.

And an emotion as sinful as hatred brought Goryansky out of nirvana.

– After you (people’s deputies, – Aut.) I received something, I have a satellite “dish”: Ukraine channels were disconnected and a message appeared that I had to pay. Russian, Belarusian everyone stayed Clearly, no one will pay. Is this fun?

– This is a solution to commercial channels, which lasted three years. – Tkachenko tried to explain.

– Nothing Ukrainian! – Akhtem Seitablaev continued. “I’m on the front line, where people with guns do everything they can so we can have coffee and talk with our children.” And that? You destroy the Ukrainian manufacturer.

“As through the mirror,” Ostap Stupka shared his feelings. “I think this will all end too soon.”

“A citizen must participate in what is happening to him,” the facilitator drew philosophically.

What kind of songs, what kind of speech

After the break, the artists decided to sing. The Sky group moved to that corner of the study where it was equipped with a place for self-expression. And it rang!

Chorus phrases:

– What to do?

– We survived. I cannot do the opposite. The opposite is impossible.

– Not online now.

The funeral, leader Oleg Sobchuk added prose:

– We survived, of course. But stop checking us out for survival!

The subtleties of a cultural product.

After another break, as the guests took in the songs they were listening to, rejoicing in the live sounds (a mini concert after all!), A discussion of angle in the professional depths.

Alexander Rodnyansky gave another lecture on the film industry in the context of quarantine via a video link.

– The whole question is not about the number of cinemas, but what stories to tell people. After all, movie theaters are not full, “he said. – We need to think about the transmission resource, on the platform. 90% of film distribution in Ukraine was captured by American cinema. Therefore, there is only one way out: to make high-quality local cinema. The only resource we have is talent. Or focus on the author’s cinema, which exceeds limits and distances, reaches the viewer in any country.

“Take Rodnyansky as adviser to the film industry,” Goryansky advised the president, urging him.

Akhtem Seitablaev said he expected a passionate, if not among the first people, then the next. But he did not wait yet.

Irma Vitovskaya shared her search:

– And let’s imagine that we will have a virus for 5 years. There may be other challenges. We must seek such platforms now.

The presenter launched a new idea. The television show showed how artists abroad earn money by recording video greetings for specific people for money.

“Well no,” said someone in the study.

The infographic in which Ukrainian artists live is displayed on the screen. 50% of the revenue comes from concerts, fans and fans who buy music, add another 30% to the idol wallet and only 20% from the sale of licenses and copyrights.

– 20% for licenses is too much! For licenses and copyrights much less ”, Olya Polyakova was outraged by the statistics.

“Somewhere around 80% of the income is concerts,” Topolya agreed, “you eat with your mouth and you are paid for it.”

– 90% – said Oleg Sobchuk.

Sergei Kuzin, host of the Camtugueza radio show, has smashed the myth of super profit by using a creative product:

– For some time they pay to use the song, then they spin for free.

Alexander Tkachenko said that a certain state agency should have been created, which should centrally charge for the use of a creative product and transfer this money to the artists, but the court blocked the creation of such a structure.

According to the explanations of the People’s Deputy, the guests understood one thing: they had to unite.

– Now we are absolutely naked, barefoot and with straight hair! – Polyakova passionately issued.

Taras Topol said with a smile that there is a platform and that the majority majority representatives are ready to cooperate. Polyakova could not find an answer. Just in case, she pursed her lips.

Melpomene exposed

And the presenter jumped the guests to the theater. Ostap Stupka said they were sent on vacation.

– Paid out? Polyakova asked quickly.

– yes – He broke his hope for Stupka’s revolutionary humor.

“And we signed a 60% statement,” said melancholic Goryansky, “I have no idea how the workshops survive.”

However, Tkachenko assured the guests that the funding was fully preserved. Perhaps the guests would have dropped the topic, if not for Taras Topol, who suddenly touched on the topic of music education. But the theme quickly faded: everyone immediately agreed that the musical lineup was total darkness. I mean, no money.

“The messages are reaching me,” Goryansky waved his device, “they say you will invite actors from the periphery, they will tell you about the situation in the theater.” Your ears are untied.

“We have a unique opportunity, the attitude in the government is changing,” Tkachenko tried to inspire.

But Goryansky shot down the pathos, referring to the directive, “apparently, the Ministry of Culture”, how many of its own or foreign directors to invite, plays that years put:

– What is this order? Who betrayed him?

“This is a different topic,” said the alarmed host. – Not now, we’ll go aside.

But the topic turned out to be relevant, the studio made a noise.

“I froze in the country and I am waiting for your word,” Schuster continued, addressing Goryansky.

“No, I – everything (said),” he replied.

The curtain

After watching: survive, so with the song

It was only at the end of the show that it was understood why Savik Schuster, on a very political day on May 1, at the end of a crowded week, brought together not politicians, but artists. I wanted to investigate the emotions, as it is about the emotions that world politics is doing today. He asked them about the feelings of the politicians from transfer to transfer. But a clear answer, of course, did not receive. Meanwhile, the mood of society is now very important. Especially those of us who don’t even realize it. And then he called the art people studio. Who, if not they, can capture the mood of society, almost on a subconscious level?

These moods are disappointing. Judging by the choices in the studio, creative personalities are on the edge. And not only for money, but also for the lack of a favorite job. Even trying to interpret the antithesis of a humble preacher, Goryansky could not stay in the comfortable niche of an independent Buddhist domestic worker. But Polyakova was convincing: glamorous manners did not prevent her from transmitting politically acute appeals.

And these appeals were somewhat successful, since, on the one hand, the authorities represented by Tkachenko spoke gently (à la Goryansky), but without the details that not only art people are hungry for today. On the other hand, those actors who are emphatically patriotic are, in principle, opposed to power, no matter what they say. The promises were received with a polite smile, but it cannot be said directly that “we do not believe.” The public relations bill did not spark enthusiasm, either.

Thus, Polyakova’s passionate speeches to unite and defend themselves worked: she managed to lightly recruit Topol and Seitablaev.

And it turns out that money is no longer the main thing, and in (creative) people, fear of the coronavirus has already given way to a growing mood of protest. Since “soul engineers” are also “tuning forks of society”, many in the country would make sense to think about what is happening. And think a lot.

After all, a good song with a feeling can light millions. And, yes, completely free.

Because, judging by the numerous phrases of the artists, the massive events will not start before September. And therefore the quarantine will steal the summer from Ukrainian citizens, with a high probability. And this information can be much more accurate than all the authorities’ promises and guidelines.
