In Kharkov, schoolchildren will be laid off for vacation until October 30, and kindergartens will continue their work. This decision was made in connection with the city’s transition to the “red zone” of quarantine restrictions. This was announced at today’s briefing by the head of the regional administration Alexei Kucher, writes NR.

According to the official, a meeting of the State Commission for Safety and Technogenic and Environmental Emergencies was held today. It was decided that from midnight on Monday, Kharkov will be transferred to the “red zone”. As previously reported, cinemas and gyms will be closed, with no plans to halt transportation.

“I insist that the infection spreads mainly in transport. But this is a matter of city life. In a week the decision will be reviewed,” said the head of the Regional State Administration.

The food markets in Kharkiv will continue to function as usual. Bazaars that sell other products must close at 8:00 p.m. In addition, officials did not restrict air travel and commuter work.
