Today in Kiev, the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the Israeli Embassy, conducted special counter-terrorism tactical exercises. During the power phase of the training, the commandos released the “hostages”, neutralized the “explosives” and detained the “terrorists”.

The press service of the department reported.

The joint exercises were reportedly held in the Pechersky and Desnyansky districts of the capital. Units of the State Executive, National Police, State Emergency Service and the National Guard also participated in the antiterrorist activities.

According to the legend of the exercises, conditional “terrorists” took a representative of the diplomatic mission hostage. At the same time, his accomplices, another group of “criminals”, placed an imitation model of an improvised explosive device at the entrance to the embassy compound.
