The Justice Ministry said a fine will not be imposed for not wearing a mask in accordance with the new regulations.
Underage Ukrainians will not have to pay a fine for staying in public places without a mask. This was announced on Sunday, November 8, by the Minister of Justice, Denis Malyuska. In addition, he stressed that they are not going to fine people who walk the streets without a mask.
We remind you that a new fine is introduced in Ukraine for the lack of a mask in public places. The observance of the norms against the epidemic will be supervised by police officers and employees of the State Consumer Service. Compared to the fines that were there before, the payment in case of violations will have to be several times less, from 170 to 255 hryvnia. But now they will be fined immediately, without trial, right at the place of the violation. And in the Kiev metro, the “Municipal Security” began to control the observance of the mask regime.
As Vgorode reported, on November 7, the daily number of coronavirus cases for the first time exceeded 10,000. We remind you that on November 6 the quarantine zoning was redistributed in Ukraine, now there are no settlements with “yellow” and “green” quarantine levels. Twelve regional centers were sent to the “red” zone, while Kiev remained in the “orange” quarantine zone. The updated restrictions went into effect on November 9.
