Smartphone owners who encounter this problem have noticed that the flaws on the screen appear with the inclusion of 120Hz refresh rate, in 60Hz mode everything seems normal.

Samsung has yet to formally respond to these complaints, making it impossible to understand how common the problem is and what it is related to, whether it can be resolved programmatically or due to a hardware defect. While it is clear that the green dots did not appear with the updates, as complaints started coming in immediately after the launch of the S20 Ultra sales, and periodically continue to occur.
