The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has raised the salaries of family doctors, raising the rate of medical care for each patient. The rate has increased by 51 hryvnia.
Health Minister Maxim Stepanov announced this at a briefing.
According to him, at yesterday’s meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, changes were made to the medical guarantee program, raising the capital rate for family doctors, in fact, for each signed statement.
“Previously, it was 600 hryvnia 48 kopecks, and now – 651 hryvnia 60 kopecks,” Stepanov said.
He also noted that, for example, if 1,800 statements were signed with a maximum family doctor, he would additionally receive around 7,500 UAH.
We will recall, it was previously reported that the National Health Service proposes to increase this rate to 710 hryvnia.
Prior to this, the Cabinet of Ministers increased additional payments to military and medical personnel involved in the fight against COVID-19. In particular, these additional payments will double. In addition, the government previously initiated layoffs in the regions due to a delay in additional payments to doctors.
