Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said Saakashvili is a citizen of Ukraine and therefore no state in the world can indicate where or not to appoint a citizen of Ukraine.
Zelensky, in turn, said Georgia’s reaction to Saakashvili’s appointment is wrong.
