The Russian mercenary Aleksey Markov, who commanded the so-called Phantom battalion in the terrorist “LPR”, was killed in Donbas.
Denis Kazansky, journalist and representative of ORDLO in the Trilateral Contact Group talks, announced this on his Telegram channel on Saturday, October 24.
He referred to the information received on the pages of the invaders on social networks. Markov’s cause of death was called an accident, but Kazansky expressed doubts about it: “Considering the fate of other L / DPR field commanders, there must be something dirty here too.”
“The first commanders of the ‘Ghost’ – Kostin and Mozgovoy were killed by their own comrades in the Russian world. What kind of ‘Ghost’ turned out to be no accident …” – he pointed out.
The network invaders reported that Markov had participated in the war in Donbass against Ukraine since 2014, in particular, he was involved in battles near the town of Zhelobok and in the Bakhmut road area.
