The Russian cabinet of ministers has prepared a “reliable water supply plan” for occupied Crimea, it will be allocated 50 billion rubles (17 billion UAH).
This was announced by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin in a meeting with the Deputy Prime Ministers, reports the Russian propaganda agency TASS. According to him, the plan foresees 14 events, including the development of new water sources.
“In total, about 50 billion rubles will be earmarked for the implementation of the plan, most of which will come from the federal budget. This will provide an additional supply of water in the amount of at least 310 thousand cubic meters per day, which which will provide a high-quality water supply to the peninsula and its inhabitants, “said the Russian. He noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government to solve the problem of water supply to Crimea. “This is an important issue for the people and development of the peninsula,” Mishustin said.
