The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reacted to the sale by the Russian occupation authorities of the Crimean wine factory “Massandra”. Ukraine’s ministry called Russia’s decision “null and void.”
About that wrote on his Twitter page First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Emine Dzhaparova.
As the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs pointed out, Russia has once again defiantly violated the norms of international humanitarian law.
“In the isolation conditions of the sanctions in the Kremlin, the assets of the Massandra company illegally expropriated from its subsidiary were auctioned for a penny. This decision is legally null and void and Russia will be responsible for it,” said Japarova.
We will recall that today Russia has sold the Massandra wine company, which is located in the occupied Crimea. The company, which includes 11 factories, was bought by a Bank Rossiya subsidiary for almost $ 73 million.
As RBC-Ukraine wrote, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine asked foreign companies not to participate in the privatization of Crimea Massandra.
We add that in the spring of 2020, the Crimean Massandra plant was estimated at less than $ 10 million.
