A Russian barge arrived in Germany instead of a Russian pipelayer. There are two auxiliary ships with her.

The Russian pipe laying barge Fortuna, which is supposed to carry out the works for the completion of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, has arrived at the German port of Rostock. On Wednesday 9 December, data from the Marine Traffic boat tracking service attest to this.

There are two auxiliary boats nearby: Vladislav Strizhov and Katun.

As you know, construction of Nord Stream-2 was allowed to resume on December 5. The Akademik Chersky ship, capable of completing the construction of the Russian pipeline, reached the point that day where one of the unfinished pipeline chains was interrupted and remained there for almost two days. Today it became known that the Scholar Pipelayer Chersky returned from the western Baltic to the shores of the Kaliningrad region.

At the same time, the investment company said that works are expected for the completion of the gas pipeline in December, but the exact date is unknown.
