Russia closes commercial office in Ukraine

Apart from Ukraine, it was decided to close the Russian commercial office in Lithuania. In total, the Russian Federation will have 58 representative offices of this type in the world.

Russia has made the decision to close trade representations in Ukraine and Lithuania. This is indicated in the decree on the website of the government of the Russian Federation. The corresponding decree was signed on November 7 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

“The government of the Russian Federation decides: to liquidate the trade mission of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Lithuania, the trade mission of the Russian Federation in Ukraine,” says the resolution.

At the same time, Russia established a trade office in Syria.

It should be noted that the RF now has commercial representations in 58 countries.

As reported, in the first half of 2020, the trade turnover between Ukraine and Russia decreased by 46% and amounted to $ 3.545 billion.
