It is my understanding that in 2007 Ms Zhurova was brought into the government not because of her political successes or exceptional intelligence, but because of the fact that she ran 500 meters faster in Turin than anyone else on roller skates (by the way, there are also questions about the result, but I did not take anyone by the hand caught, let’s assume that everything was supposedly honest). But Ms. Zhurova has been in the State Duma for 13 years. Well, something during this time you could learn, read something, understand, study … No?
Well, let’s see what Ms. Zhurova, a deputy of the State Duma with 13 years of experience, says. The person who makes the laws that 140 million people live by.
1) If anyone thinks this is a decision for leaders, then this is a solution for athletes in the first place. There have never been such proceedings for the most heinous crimes: a person is sent to prison, then returned, and then in a second round. This cannot but outrage.
This is just an epic. Remember this comment, similarly, the conversations will continue for a long time. Ms. Zhurova explicitly states that this CAS decision is a punishment for Sochi’s sins. So the dog’s tail is docked, monsters. Was it in vain that in the amendments to the Constitution the prohibition of harassing animals was introduced?

Much more interesting were my own words that the cancellation of sports competitions is not a problem for the West, but for Russia, which was trying to delay the consideration of the appeal so that the sanctions would not take effect before the start of the Olympics. And if it weren’t for the coronavirus, most likely this would have happened, and Russia would have traveled to Tokyo under its own flag, and officials would have traveled to its Russian House. But the problem is that the Olympics were postponed for a year and it was no longer possible to delay consideration of the case.
