RRB investigates information on interruption of special operation in Belarus
Immediately after the information about the interruption of a special operation in Belarus appeared, the State Investigations Office opened several production facilities.
The State Bureau of Investigation has opened several criminal cases on charges of disrupting a possible special operation to deliver mercenaries from the private Russian military company Wagner to Ukraine. This was announced by the attorney general Irina Venediktova in an interview with Savik Shuster.
When asked if the special operation with the Wagnerites really took place in Ukraine, and if there would be an investigation, Venediktova said: “I personally don’t know that such a special operation is being prepared. But as soon as information appeared in the media, the State Bureau of Investigation was The criminal proceedings were recorded and the investigation is already underway, “Venediktova said.
He pointed out that the RRB is investigating more than one criminal process for this fact.
“Therefore, those people who consider themselves valuable witnesses and can inform the investigation in addition to something, I believe that the investigating bodies should question them. Speak with insinuations about the position of the State (…) – if there is information, it should come and denounce “, – said Venediktova.
The Attorney General also commented on the upcoming questioning of the former head of the President’s Office Andriy Bogdan, who previously said in an interview about the agreement between the Ukrainian authorities and Russian officials on the state of Crimea, air traffic with Russia and the exchange of prisoners.
“If Andrei Iosifovich declares this, he understands very well the consequences that this can cause,” said the Attorney General.
Earlier, the Ukrainian media reported that the operation with the “Wagnerists” was organized by the special services of Ukraine, but failed due to the “leakage” of information to the Office of the President. The Defense Ministry denied information that the appearance and detention of the “Wagnerites” in Belarus was a special operation of the SBU.
As you know, at the end of July in Belarus it was announced that more than 200 militants had arrived in the country to destabilize the situation during the electoral campaign. At the same time, 33 detainees were reported.
