In the Donbas combat zone, on the morning of February 11, a sniper from the armed formations of the Russian Federation wounded an AFU soldier. The Ukrainian defender died during the evacuation.
The tragedy took place around 09:30 near the town of Zaitsevo. It was announced by the official Telegram channel of the Ukrainian delegation to participate in the Trilateral Contact Group, as well as by the JFO headquarters on the Facebook page.
It is noted that the enemy carried out targeted bombardments of the positions of the Ukrainian army with sniper weapons in the area of responsibility of the operational-tactical group “North”.
As a result of the shooting, a soldier from the Joint Forces received a gunshot wound. The warrior quickly received first aid, but, unfortunately, of his injuries he died during evacuation to the hospital.
