Republican senator urges Trump to begin Biden handover

The American politician criticized the attempts of the head of the White House to question the results of the presidential elections.

US Senator Lisa Murkowski of the Republican Party has called on the administration of her party member, current President Donald Trump, to begin a full-blown transition process to the Joseph Biden administration. Politics wrote about this on their page at Twitter Monday, November 23.

“It’s time to start a full and formal transition,” said Murkowski, who represents Alaska in the Senate, the region where Trump won the general election.

At the same time, the senator criticized the White House chief’s attempts to question the results of the presidential elections.

“Each state worked to ensure a free and fair electoral process. President Trump had the opportunity to present his claims through the courts, so far the courts have found them unfounded,” Murkowski said.

He called on the Trump campaign to pressure state lawmakers without precedent.
