At first reading, the bill was adopted in June and was generally due to pass by the end of the year, but it could not due to a large number of amendments.

“We wanted to vote on the bill on the December referendum, but as there are 2000 amendments, we have to work with their authors to withdraw them or not insist too much on their consideration, that is, they do not block the approval of the law. it was possible to vote in December. I think we will approve it in February ”, said the popular deputy.

Arahamia also believes that the Rada needs to develop an electronic voting model by the end of 2021, at least at the local level.
“I would like to get to the prototype at least locally for electronic voting by the end of the year, so that perhaps with the help of some kind of application like Diya, however, we will arrive at some kind of this model. the promise of the program is to move to a digitized process ”, explained the deputy.
