Record number of COVID-19 cases in Ukraine

In Ukraine, more than 612 thousand people have contracted coronavirus since the start of the pandemic. Of these, 14,580 were identified yesterday.

In Ukraine, during the last day, 14,580 people were infected with the coronavirus, which is five more people than yesterday’s anti-record. This was announced on Saturday, November 21, by Ukraine’s Health Minister Maxim Stepanov on Facebook.

According to him, during the last day, 71,949 tests were carried out (in particular, by PCR – 45,508, by ELISA – 26,441).

In addition, 1,761 people were hospitalized; deaths – 215; recovered – 7 989 people.

In Ukraine, since the beginning of the pandemic, more than half a million cases of coronavirus have been confirmed: 612,665. At the same time, almost half of the people recovered: 282,313.

During the last 24 hours, the highest number of confirmed cases was registered in the regions of Dnipropetrovsk (1,342), the city of Kiev (1,213), Sumy (961), Kiev (953), Zaporozhye (810).

We recall, yesterday an anti-record of 14,575 patients with coronavirus was established.

Also yesterday it was reported that the workload of COVID beds is decreasing despite the increase in incidence.
