The guests occupied the other half of the field with almost the entire composition, waiting to score. To their credit, they managed to do it. Casemiro kept the ball in the field after taking Valverde out and threw it under Benzema’s blow, and the Frenchman sent the ball into the net – 2: 1. In a matter of minutes, the hosts had a great opportunity to dribble from again with two goals, but Bensebaini took an extremely unfortunate direct free kick. In injury time, the “creamy” went on to the final assault on Sommer’s doorstep, which finally paid off. Ramos threw the ball to Casemiro after Modric’s shot. and the Brazilian sent him under the bar – 2: 2. Zidane’s team escaped in a match that was almost lost, winning the first point in the current Champions League. The Foals missed the opportunity to lead the standings.
