The president of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Dmitry Razumkov, predicted a difficult 2021, taking into account the adopted state budget.

He said it on the air of the program “Ukraine with Tigran Martirosyan” of the television channel “Ukraine 24”, answering the viewer’s question about when the “era of poverty” will end. The head of parliament clarified that this will definitely not happen tomorrow or the day after tomorrow (to see the video, scroll the page to the end).

“Looking at the budget, we understand that next year will not be easy. If we look at the indicators that are established in the document, including the minimum wage, inflation, etc., they are better than this year. Now it is important to fulfill the tasks shown there, “Razumkov said.

The BP spokesman also noted that the situation was exacerbated by the coronavirus pandemic, which affected not only the Ukrainian economy, but also the world economy.

“The state must make efforts to maintain the situation in economic terms and help the people to go through this difficult stage,” Razumkov added.

As OBOZREVATEL reported, during a press conference in May, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the end of the era of poverty did not come in Ukraine because now there is a crisis all over the world.

Recall that at the end of 2019, the head of state promised to end the “era of poverty” before the end of his term in 2024.
