Zhitomir, Uzhgorod, Zaporozhye, Ivano-Frankovsk, Nikolaev, Poltava, Rovno, Sumy, Kharkov, Khmelnitsky, Chernivtsi, Chernigov will be referred to the “red” zone from November 9.
The State Commission for Safety and Technogenic and Environmental Emergencies has updated the quarantine zoning in Ukraine in relation to the COVID-19 coronavirus infection epidemic. The Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers, Oleg Nemchinov, announced this on Telegram.
In the “red” zone were:
- Kozyatin and Tyvrovsky district of the Vinnytsia region;
- Vladimir-Volynsky, Kovel and Novovolynsk; Ivanichovsky, Kivertsovsky, Lyubeshivsky, Manevitsky and Turisky districts of the Volyn region;
- Tsarichansky district of the Dnepropetrovsk region;
- Ugledar, Kramatorsk, Novogrodovka, Slavyansk and Slavyansky district of the Donetsk region;
- Zhitomir, Berdichev, Korosten, Malin and Novograd-Volynsky; Andrushevsky, Baranovsky, Berdichevsky, Brusilovsky, Emilchinsky, Zhitomirsky, Korostensky, Korostyshevsky, Luginsky, Lyubarsky, Malinsky, Naroditsky, Novograd-Volynsky, Ovruchsky, Olevsky, Popilnyansky and Korostenskyyssky;
- Uzhgorod, Beregovo and Chop; Velyky Bereznyansky, Perechinsky and Uzhgorodsky districts of the Transcarpathian region;
- Zaporizhzhia and Melitopol; The Novonikolaevskiy, Orekhovskiy, Pologovskiy and Chernigovskiy districts of the Zaporozhye region;
- Ivano-Frankivsk, Burshtyn, Kalush and Kolomyia; Galitsky, Gorodenkovsky, Kosovsky, Tysmenitsky and Tlumatsky districts of the Ivano-Frankivsk region;
- Vasilkov, Obukhov, Pereyaslav and Fastov; Baryshevsky, Kagarlyksky, Mironovsky and Obukhovsky districts of the Kiev region;
- Markovsky district of the Lugansk region;
- Nikolaevsky, Samborsky, Pustomytovsky and Sokalsky districts of the Lviv region;
- the city of Nikolaev, Nikolaev region;
- the cities of Izmail and Chernomorsk; The Artsizsky, Baltsky, Berezovsky, Limansky, Podolsky, Savransky and Saratsky districts of the Odessa region;

- the cities of Vatutino, Zolotonosha, Kanev and Smila; Mankovsky and Talnovsky districts of the Cherkasy region;
- Chernivtsi and Novodnestrovsk; Vyzhnytskyi, Hlybokaye, Zastavnovskyi, Kelmenetskyi, Kitsmanskyi, Novoselitskyi, Sokiryanskyi, Storozhynetskyi and Khotynskyi districts of the Chernivtsi region;
- Chernigov and Nizhyn; Varvinsky and Kulikovsky districts of the Chernihiv region.
The rest of the territory of Ukraine refers to the “orange” zone, not a single settlement was included in the “green” and “yellow” zones.

The restrictions are introduced as of November 9 and will last at least 14 days.
An outbreak of coronavirus infection began in late 2019 in China. March 11, 2020 World Health Organization declared the spread of the coronavirus a pandemic. As of November 4, 420 617 cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in Ukraine, of which record 9524 – during the last day… 7731 COVID-19 patients have already died, a total of 176 404 people have been recovered.
July 22 The Cabinet of Ministers issued a decree that, depending on the epidemic situation in the region or in the individual administrative-territorial units, establishes a “green”, “yellow”, “orange” or “red” level of epidemic danger of the spread of the COVID-19. On October 13, the adaptive quarantine was extended until the end of 2020.
September 16 Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine modified the resolution on the rules for the zoning of regions according to the epidemic situation, softening the requirements to classify the region as a “red” zone.
