Quarantine zoning has been updated in Ukraine:

On Monday, September 21, a new quarantine zoning entered into force in Ukraine. There is not a single regional center in the “red zone”.

The corresponding decision was made by the State and Regional Commission for Safety and Technogenic and Environmental Emergencies.

Red zone

When entering this zone, the operation of public transport is prohibited; SEC, cafes and restaurants. Such restrictions are possible if more than 75% of the beds in hospitals are loaded for 5 days in a row, the average incidence rate of cases per 100 thousand of the population for 14 days is more than 5 times higher. This zone includes:

  • village Chop Transcarpathic region;
  • village Glory and the Volochissky district of the Khmelnitsky region;
  • village Nizhyn and the Nosovskiy district of the Chernihiv region;
  • village Watch out, Districts of Zalishchitsky, Zbarazhsky and Ternopil;
  • village Kanev Cherkasy region;
  • Sambir and Pustomytovsky districts of the Lviv region;
  • Gertseivsky and Kelmenetsky districts of the Chernivtsi region.

Orange zone

This area contains the largest number of regional centers, as well as the capital. It is forbidden to work here: hostels and tourist centers; restaurants, nightclubs at night; fitness centers and gyms, parts of cultural institutions; children’s camps. Mass gatherings of more than 100 people are also prohibited.

It should be noted that previously the Ministry of Health excluded the rule on the prohibition of transport in public transport in the “orange zone” when 50% of the seats were occupied.

This zone includes: Kiev, Vinnytsia, Kharkov, Khmelnitsky, Chernivtsi, Uzhgorod, Ivano-Frankivsk, Sumy, Ternopil.

Yellow zone

In this area it is forbidden to visit social security institutions where older people are (except those that provide services).

These restrictions include: Lutsk, Zhytomyr, Rivne, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Zaporozhye, Lviv, Nikolaev.

Green area

In this area, the use of masks in public buildings and transportation is still mandatory; during mass events, one person is allowed for every 5 m2. meter; cinemas can only be 50% full; The transport of passengers in public transport is only allowed with masks and passenger seats.
