Ukraine was divided into quarantine zones according to new criteria. The red zone was reduced to two cities and Kiev moved to the yellow zone.

The State Commission for BTE and Emergency Situations has updated the distribution of administrative-territorial units by areas of epidemiological risk. The red zone includes the cities of Ternopil and Berezhany in the Ternopil region. This was announced by the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleg Nemchinov on his Facebook page on Thursday, September 24.

From now on, a joint decision will be made by the commissions in the event that more than 75% of the beds in hospitals are loaded for five consecutive days, the average incidence rate of cases per 100,000 inhabitants in 14 days is more five times greater.

Remember that during the last 24 hours in Ukraine, there are almost 3.4 thousand new cases of COVID-19. At the same time, almost 1.8 thousand per day were recovered. The most active increase in new patients is in the Dnepropetrovsk, Ternopil and Kharkov regions, as well as in Kiev.
